Part of this has, no doubt, been due to the immense dedication of staff employed by the National Health Service and by the numerous volunteers in all parts of the country who are involved.
W Bro Daniel Graham is one such volunteer and has provided the following brief report:
“I’ve been volunteering via communities1st.org.uk the umbrella organisation for volunteering in Hertfordshire which has been managing vaccination centres from St Albans down to Elstree in Hertsmere.
Shifts are for 4 hours and involve a range of duties from car park stewarding, meet and greet check in roles and post vaccination observation.
All volunteers have a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service – Criminal Records Check) and have to complete a 5 module online e-learning course first.”
Once again Middlesex Masons are to the fore and it is encouraging to see the solidarity which exists as communities draw together to fight this dreadful virus in any way they can.
