NEWS FROM GRAND LODGE
The Tercentenary Jewel
The Jewel to mark the tercentenary of the formation of the original Grand Lodge on 24 June 1717 incorporates the Arms granted to the United Grand Lodge of England in 1919. It was originally authorised as a permanent jewel to be worn by any Master Mason who was a member of a Lodge under UGLE during the period from 24 June 2016 to 31 December 2017.
Please be aware that the MW The Grand Master has now extended the original authorisation so that the jewel may (like a Lodge Centenary Jewel) be worn by any subscribing Master Mason in a Lodge under UGLE irrespective of when he became a member.
SEPTEMBER QUARTERLY COMMUNICATION
For the first time since before the Second World War, a Quarterly Communication of Grand Lodge will be held outside of London.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday 13th September 2023 as we gather at the International Convention Centre in Caerleon, near Newport, Wales.
This is your exclusive invitation to witness a momentous milestone in Masonic history. Secure your spot at the September Quarterly Communication by booking your seat today.
Participation in the QC is open to all Master Masons.
This is on a first come first served basis and if the link is no longer operational, it means we have reached full capacity.
The image above features Sir Alfred Robbins and Deputy Grand Master Sir Frederick Halsey alongside Lord Ampthill, Pro Grand Master in 1923 when the first QC was held outside of London.
Since then, four more meetings have ventured beyond London, drawing enthusiastic participation from members. The impact and appeal of these gatherings have been undeniable.
