Saturday 8th July 2017 at 10.30 am
Harrow Masonic Centre - Northwick Circle, Kenton, HA3 0EL
On a very pleasant Saturday morning, some 40 Companions from throughout the Province came together at the Harrow District Masonic Centre to attend the Royal Arch Principals' Seminar, hosted by E Comp Mike Karn, PAGDC, Third Provincial Grand Principal, with contributions by E Comp Mike Kearsley, Provincial Grand Orator and E Comp John Culling PAGDC, Second Provincial Grand Principal.
E Comp Mike Karn opened the Seminar by thanking those attending for giving up thier Saturday morning to be there, when no doubt other duties were calling on their time. He then spoke about the Origins and Development of the Royal Arch.
All were delighted to see E Comp Mike Kearsley present and looking so well, after his recent health scare and he gave an interesting talk on the Meaning of the Royal Arch, which challenged the meaning of the Ritual and provoked a number of questions from the audience.
E Comp John Culling then concluded the Seminar by discussing the Duties and Responsibilities of the Principals, looking at the whole process of the selection and appointment, through planning and allocating work at meetings, to recruitment of potential Exaltees.
This generated considerable debate on a wide range of topics, which continued afterwards in the bar, where those attending enjoyed a complimentary buffet lunch.
