These events give so much pleasure to the residents, but they do not just happen, they need to be sponsored and the Association of Friends is appealing for sponsors.

The cost to sponsor each event (except the games afternoon) is £250.00, which includes the entertainment and refreshments. The cost of sponsoring the games afternoon is just £75.00.

Any Lodge or Chapter wishing to sponsor any of these events should email events@pmkcfriends.co.uk.

A sponsoring Lodge/Chapter will have its name associated in promotional material for the event and on the day.

Unfortunately, the Association of Friends cannot say now whether members of sponsoring Lodges/Chapters will be able to attend the events.

This, of course, will be subject to any health and safety restrictions and limitations imposed.

They have therefore decided to organise just the first three months, in the hope that circumstances will allow them to continue towards a full programme for the rest of the year.

The Association of Friends will, of course, continue to fund the popular Thursday coffee mornings and Wednesday Supper Clubs as well as therapy equipment and chiropody for residents.

A grateful thanks to W Bro David Pearson PProvGSec for the edit.
