Last Masonic meeting at Staines Masonic Centre before the Gordon Bourne Lodge Motorbikes to Twickenham

The last meeting to be held at the Staines Masonic Centre will be of The Gordon Bourne Lodge, No 9388, which was formed in honour of its namesake who was the first Pro Provincial Grand Master of Middlesex in 1989, appointed to assist the Ninth Provincial Grand Master, HRH Prince Michael of Kent.

This meeting is to be held on Thursday December 19th.

The Lodge members would like this to be a suitable goodbye to the Centre and to give as many Middlesex Masons an opportunity to attend and bid their final farewells.

There are many hundreds who have been Initiated at Staines and have very fond memories of times spent there.

The Lodge will be carrying out a Raising, which will be performed by the Provincial Demonstration Team.

Looking forwards, the Lodge will move to the Twickenham District Masonic Centre at Cole Court and start a new life as a Motorcycle Enthusiasts Lodge.

Any Brethren with an interest in motorbikes are encouraged to attend this final meeting in Staines and look to become Joining members of the Lodge.

The point remains as to whether the RW Gordon Lionel Bourne with substantial achievements in the medical profession and Mastership of the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers was a secret biker ?

If he was then he would surely approve.

Any interested Brethren please contact Lawrence Henson on or 07961 066643.
