Greenford Lodge aims higher

The phrase “the distinguishing characteristic of a Freemason’s heart”, as it is heard in our Initiation Ceremony, clarifies that at the very heart of our organisation is the will for all the members to do good for everyone around; I mean Charity.

Circle of Friendship Lodge No. 7320, have truly lived up to this sentiment.

They have achieved the Platinum Grand Patron Status for The 2020 Festival themselves.

Having already raised an astonishing amount of money for this great cause, and achieved this wonderful recognition in our Province, they have come up with an ingenious idea to help other Lodges achieve similar results.

W Bro. Paul Lowery from Circle of Friendship Lodge presented a cheque for £1,000.00 to the Charity Steward of Greenford Lodge, No. 4909, W Bro. David Baker.

With an additional £500.00 from their own Relief Chest, Greenford Lodge, No. 4909 is now well on its way to becoming a Steward of The 2020 Festival.

Greenford Lodge is a fairly small in numbers, but they have had another boost.

They have recently Initiated three new members and this is good news for the Lodge and will spur them on to greater charitable endeavour in the fullness of time no doubt.
