The Brethren of the Northolt Lodge, No. 6565 recently presented a cheque for £300 to the Hillingdon Brain Tumour Group to assist with the cost of their Christmas Party.

This donation of £300 falling in line with the Tercentenary Christmas Plan recently outlined by Pro Provincial Grand Master R W Alastair Mason that Lodges in Middlesex might celebrate the Tercentenary year by considering a monetary donation to local charities of an equivalent amount.

Members of the Lodge will attend and meet with some of the volunteers and also some of those dependent on the Charity and It is hoped that the Lodge will adopt the Group as one of their main charities.

Becky Haggar started the group in 2009 as a result of her husband being diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumour.

Becky's father was a Middlesex Mason at Shepperton Lodge No 8611, he was active until 1980 and continued to support the Lodge until his death in 2002.
