Things are Looking Rosy for Rose of England Lodge

Brethren & Guests of Rose of England Lodge No. 6456 at their 12th February 2019 Meeting

Rose of England Lodge, No. 6456, who meet in Harrow is a testament to the fact that you do not have to have large membership numbers to show that you have great solidarity amongst the Brethren.

Having only 19 Members they are the proud holders of The 2020 Festival Platinum Grand Patron, which was achieved in December 2018.

Even allowing for an adjustment for numbers, it still represents a remarkable achievement.

In the family way –

More recently on the 12th February 2019 Bro. Manvinder Chadha saw his Son in-law, Bro. Mandeep Singh, a 27 year old Business Development manager Initiated into the Lodge, together with the son of a family friend Bro. Arjun Anand, a 31 year old IT engineer.

Close friendships outside of the Lodge surely go a long way to forming great ties within the Lodge as these two new Brethren prove.

No doubt encouraging freemasonry amongst family members is something that may give a strengthened platform to build the Lodge’s future.

The Double Initiation was performed by W Bro. Vinay Jain JP with his team of very capable officers.

The last time the Lodge held a double Initiation was 7 years ago.

W Bro. Nish Amin gave the rendition of the 1st Degree Tracing Board, very seldom heard these days, and also performed the Initiates Chain.

All in all the Members and guests enjoyed a very impressive Ceremony and Lodge is delighted to announce that they will be carrying out another Double Initiation on Tuesday 16th April 2019 at Harrow Masonic Centre.

Watch this space.

A Rosy future is in store for Rose of England Lodge and long may they be successful in their charitable endeavours and in introducing these new Brethren to freemasonry.
