Middlesex Masons in the Community –
The Hale Lodge, No. 5141 and Chapter members have responded to the National call for NHS volunteers.
The enforced lay-offs of non-essential tradesmen has brought out the best in our masonic community.
There are within these masonic units 2 Paramedics Brother Paul Stewart and W. Bro Mark Waller, who has returned to his former occupation as a Bank Paramedic, to assist in this vital role until it is all over then resume his normal job.
Not only that but Lodge member Bro Andrew Jablonski is an Ambulance Technician.
Although not front line NHS, there is the vital role of keeping the food supply chain going at this critical time.
The WM of The Hale Lodge, W. Bro Jet Tirol, works as a Night Merchandiser at Tesco ensuring that the shelves remain stacked.
His wife equally comes into the equation of service and is a Nursing Sister in the A & E Department at Northwick Park Hospital.
Even the partner of the Lodge’s newest FC, Bro Paul Worger, works for Tesco.
Between them all we thank them for the service each in its own way giving us confidence that during the country’s darkest hour they are providing essential health services and making sure we do not go hungry.
This is yet another instance where Middlesex Freemasons and their paretners are making a difference behind the scenes.
Well done !
