Heston Lodge, No. 4888 recently became the 21st Lodge to achieve Platinum Grand Patron status, when it presented a cheque for £7,500 to Assistant Provincial Grand Master W Bro John Taylor.

The achievement, which equates to the donation of £1,000 per member, is the highest honorific the Festival can bestow – with the exception of Diamond Grand Patron, which requires an additional contribution of £20,020 per Lodge and which has been achieved by Sir Francis Burdett Lodge, No. 1503 and Albert Duke of York Lodge, No. 4970.

With little more than six weeks before the official end of the Festival on 22nd January 2020, there is still time for Lodges and Chapters to reach the next Honorific level.

The Festival has currently raised over £4m in less than five years, with the final total due to be announced at the 150th Anniversary & Festival Dinner, to be held on Friday 27th March 2020.

The Festival charity, the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys, relieves poverty and advances the education of children of Masonic families and, where funds permit, support other children in need and the funds raised by the Festival will make a lasting difference to a great many young people who most need our help.
