Jersey Lodge Sunshine for Sunshine House School

The charitable endeavours of Middlesex Masons know no bounds.

We might be forgiven for underestimating the immense amount of financial need and support that various charities require to allow them to continue their vital work in the community.

Jersey Lodge, No. 2163 presented a cheque to the Sunshine House School for £200, which were the proceeds of attaining Vice Patron level in The 2020 Festival.

Sunshine House, based in Northwood, is a specialist school for blind and partially sighted children with significant learning difficulties and disabilities aged 2 to 14. (sunshine-house-school).

The donation was originally scheduled for March but due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, it was finally made on the 17th July, before the school closed for summer recess.

Earlier in the year Jersey Lodge had also made a donation from their Relief Chest to the Provincial Covid 19 Appeal.

It is refreshing to see that even at this difficult time that our masonic hearts are still expanded by benevolence.
