Provincial Information Team at Hampstead Big Fair – Report

Hampstead Big Fair – Sunday 1st July 2018

Middlesex Freemasons In The Community – Hampstead 2018

July 1st saw members of the Provincial Communications team out at Hampstead Fair.

This was a new venue for Middlesex, as whilst it sits squarely in the county of Middlesex it is also within the Metropolitan Grand Lodge catchment area; we therefore had a joint presence from both Met and Middlesex with Nick Grossman and Ben Brickley representing Middlesex.

The fair stretched the full length of Heath Street from the station up to the ponds and was treated to large crowds throughout the very hot and sticky day.

We spoke to many of the visitors and took the details of a number of prospective candidates.

We were also visited by W Bro Nigel Codron and V W Bro Philip Summers, who as well as both being Middlesex Masons, are respectively responsible for the Middlesex and Met mobile teams.

Overall it was a busy and rewarding day with much literature handed out and some interesting conversations had by all.

Next Outing –

• Uxbridge AutoShow on Sunday 15th July (

• Strawberry Hill Music & Fun Day on Sunday 29th July (Attendance to be confirmed) (
