Freemasonry in Middlesex is flourishing in the midst of the Province's highly successful 2020 Festival, was the message delivered by RW Bro Peter Baker, newly installed Pro Provincial Grand Master and Most Excellent Grand Superintendent in and over Middlesex.
The ceremonies of his Installation, held at Freemasons' Hall, Great Queen Street on Thursday 19 July and attended by several hundred members of Middlesex and representatives from eighteen other Provinces, heard that this was in no small part due to the fun that characterised Masonry in the Province, with the Pro Provincial Grand Master encouraging the brethren to continue to enjoy themselves.
The Royal Arch installation was held in the morning with the Craft installation in the afternoon following an enjoyable lunch at the Grand Connaught rooms.
The Installing Officer was MW Bro Peter Lowndes, Pro Grand Master, supported by the Grand Director of Ceremonies and his team and both ceremonies were conducted and flowed very smoothly.
Also appointed on the day were W Bro Barry P. J. Cramer PSGD as Deputy Provincial Grand Master and W Bro Peter Annett PAGStB as Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
