Event – History of the Province of Middlesex

ANOTHER MIDDLESEX MUST ATTEND VIRTUAL EVENT
MONDAY 26TH JULY AT 7PM FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME!
A History of the Province of Middlesex
Join us for a fascinating presentation by Ron Selby – a brief history of the Masonic Province and the lost County of Middlesex.  It looks into Freemasonry in the Province, not just Craft but some of the other Additional Degrees and other Masonic activities worked in it.
In his own words:

“In 2018 I was asked by RW. Bro. Peter Baker and the Executive to work on a history of the Province to mark the 150th Anniversary of the Masonic Province of Middlesex in 2020.  My initial response was that there was no way that I could compete with Prof. Allan Beaver’s excellent book Middlesex Matters.  After much discussion and correspondence with Paul Huggins, it was decided that I should write a book, updating Allan’s book for the last 25 years, but also to include chapters on other aspects of Freemasonry in the Province that members would find of interest. I felt that to produce a publication starting from that point, would leave a void that a lot of readers would know nothing about, so my history goes back to the very beginnings of Freemasonry and the County of Middlesex, if not in the great details that Allan’s book did. “

(Running Time 45mins – 50mins) SUITABLE FOR ALL FREEMASONS
