W. Bro. James David Lea
Ansgar has been the Masonic home of the Lea family for many years. Thomas’ Grandfather, James David Lea (Tommy, Jon & Alec’s father) was initiated into Ansgar Lodge 2nd February 1960, with Jon being initiated in 1972.
Tommy was originally initiated into Temple of Uxbridge Lodge No 7660 and later joined Ansgar Lodge in 2008.
Brother Alec was also a re-joining member of Ansgar Lodge on the night.
The ceremony was carried out by Tommy, with the Charge being delivered by W.Bro. Chris Sheene, PPGReg, Hercies Lodge No 9651, and the Working Tools by W. Bro. Gary Herbert Ansgar Lodge No 5304.
It was an unforgettable ceremony, performed to an excellent standard and hopefully a memorable experience for Thomas. There were many more visitors and members present including W. Bro. John Leggett PSGD, Assistant Provincial Grand Master who is an Honorary member of Ansgar Lodge who said, “I am delighted to be part of such a special occasion”.
We all wish Brother Thomas Lea an enjoyable and successful Masonic Journey.

A grateful thanks to W. Bro Peter Swatton PProvGStwd, Web Site Content Editor, Provincial Media Team for this report.
