Annual Convocation of Provincial Grand Chapter 2017 – Bookings Extended to Friday June 2nd

We have just been informed by Freemasons’ Hall that the Board have decided to carry out some extensive works in Lodge Room 10 and it will be out of use from Wednesday 14th June until Thursday 28th Sept 2017.

The Provincial Annual Convocation will, therefore, now be held in the Grand Temple.

We now have plenty of space to accommodate all of you who wanted to attend, but the dining number is still restricted to 250.

We are therefore extending the closing date for you to attend the Annual Convocation until FRIDAY 2nd June, so please download and complete the Booking Form and return it as soon as possible.

If you wish to dine, you should complete the booking form and send it together with your cheque for £40 to the Provincial Office.

NOTICE OF MEETING is given of the Annual Convocation of Provincial Grand Chapter, at which the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent Excellent Companion Alastair Mason will invest his new Provincial Grand Officers.

All Present and Past Provincial Grand Officers, Principals and Past Principals (who are subscribing members of Chapters in the Province) are members of Provincial Grand Chapter are qualify to attend. Subject to space, other Companions will be most welcome to support the Province and their friends, but are not eligible to vote or take part in the business of the meeting.

You should be seated by 3.15 p.m. as Provincial Grand Chapter will open at 4.00 p.m. Changing facilities will be available from 2.15 p.m.

Dining: The cost of dinner after the meeting will be £40.00 per person, including ⅓ bottle of wine.

Bookings for seating in the Temple and for dinner: As space is strictly limited for dining, admission to the Convocation will only be by pre-booking and only obtainable by using the form below (Download a copy HERE).

Applications will be dealt with as first come, first served, but with priority given to those booking for the meeting and the dinner.

When all available places have been taken, later applications will be placed on a waiting list.

Please enclose your cheque (if dining), by no later than Friday 2nd June 2017. Bookings for dinner will not be accepted without payment. Confirmation of bookings will be sent by email.

This Booking Form must NOT to be used by those receiving Honours,to whom a separate Application Form has already been sent.

Standard Menu:
Starter – Cantaloupe and Bayonne ham salad with lemon and chilli oil
Main Course – Slow braised blade of beef Wellington style, Jersey Royal potato, asparagus, baby carrots, Perigourdine sauce.
Dessert – Lavender panacotta with fresh berries and white wine spice syrup.

Alternative Main Course: Fish: Grilled Cod with Parsley Sauce.

Vegetarian option:
Starter – Tempura Vegetables with roast pumpkin, spiced polenta.
Main Course – Globe artichoke filled with wild mushrooms and spinach, sweet potato boulangere and saffron sauce
