W. Bro Ian Ferguson APGM PAGStdB presents a 60th Anniversary Certificate to W. Bro Gerald Wiseman PProvGReg LGR.
On Sunday 22nd October W. Bro Ian Ferguson PAGStdB APGM together with Brethren of Lodge of Aspiration No 6086 visited and presented a Certificate commemorating (exactly only one day after the anniversary) the 60 years of Service given to Freemasonry by W. Bro Gerald Wiseman PProvGReg, LGR at his home in Stanmore. W. Bro Ian paid a moving tribute to W. Bro Gerald who spoke about his initiation and the cigars that were handed out to some 150 members and guests at the Festive Board. W. Bro Gerald served, at different times, a total of 17 years as the Lodge Almoner with great distinction and had up to recently been an active member. After the presentation W. Bro Gerald was presented with a birthday cake to celebrate his 87th birthday the day before, which was consumed by W. Bro Gerald’s family and his Lodge brethren who had come along for the visit.
A 60th Anniversary in freemasonry is no mean achievement and W. Bro Gerald is to be congratulated on reaching this landmark of masonic achievement.
