The 3 Counties Bike Ride – to raise funds for a thank you party for NHS staff.

Peter Lawrence of Norman Moore Lodge, No. 7976 is calling for volunteers to help him raise money for a “Thank You” party for NHS staff and their children.

The party, to be held next year, will be hosted by the Royal Masonic Girls School in Rickmansworth and is aimed at showing our gratitude for the hardship that NHS staff have endured throughout the past 18 months of this pandemic, which is unprecedented in our lifetime.

Peter is inviting Masons from Herts, Bucks and Middlesex Provinces to join him on Sunday 5th September 2021.

There are route lengths according to stamina and ability: a 15 mile route, a 30 mile route and a 60 mile route.

So, something to suit all levels.

Water will be provided en route.

All rides start at the Royal Masonic School for Girls, Rickmansworth Park, WD3 4HF.

UPDATE – There have been some issues getting permissions from the Royal Masonic Girls School in Rickmansworth to use as a venue.

This has been brought about by Covid restrictions and ensuring the health and safety of all participants.

Now resolved, but the organisation required for a successful event has been hampered by the time factor.

However, a ride will still take place and those wishing to join in should contact W Bro Peter Lawrence directly who will advise the format of the day.

In the first instance please call Peter on; 07836 532126, or by e mail – peter.lawrence@pglm.org.uk

Peter will still be organising the event for next year and will advise dates accordingly.
