Remembrance Sunday – 14th November

Brethren and Companions,

We are quickly approaching Remembrance Sunday, which, this year, falls on 14th November.

As in previous years, the Province is honoured to be able to take part in various parades around the Province to mark our respect for those brave men and women, in particular those who were Freemasons, who have given the ultimate sacrifice in serving our country.

Below you will see the 19 venues where the Provincial representative and adopting Lodge will be laying wreaths.

The Provincial Grand Master, HRH RW Bro Prince Michael of Kent, GCVO, would be very pleased to have as many members of his Province as possible attend their local Remembrance Sunday parade or service in support of not just the fallen, but also the Provincial Representative and adopting Lodge.

In these uncertain times the timings or venue may change so please check prior to setting out, just in case.

There will be a special wreath laying at Harrow District Masonic Centre in front of the memorial Plaque on Armistice Day (11th November) at 11.00am.

If you are available and would like to attend, please contact W Bro David Rubin on 020 8907 1341

Whichever service you decide to attend and show your support, please do so safely and in accordance with any local COVID guidelines prescribed by the event organisers.

While attending, please do take pictures of the wreath laying and then send them directly to me at jim.mitchell@pglm.org.uk so that we can add them to the news page on the website.

Finally, I would like to thank you again for taking the time to attend.

Having Middlesex Masonry be present and be so visible at these events helps promote our organisation and the good that we do.

With warm regards,

Jim Mitchell PAGDC,
Assistant Provincial Grand Master
